It was not until this tour that I began to appreciate what an amazing city Helsinki is. Henri pointed out many details that helped me better understand the history and factors that influenced the development of Helsinki culture. While the title mentioned “occult”, I think a better term would be not commonly mentioned details associated with various buildings and places in the city. I highly recommend this tour to anyone wanting a more in in depth perspective of Helsinki.

I enjoyed the night tour with Henri. He was easy to find as he held up his black bag with Occult Tours. Henri is fun, knowledgeable, and enjoys sharing the richness of Helsinki's unique buildings and hidden mysteries. The upside down giant head that I would never have seen. The unique shops for upliftment. His voice is easy to listen to and his patience to answer all our curious questions or when we lose track of him and he gathers us by stopping and waiting. We finished on time. He clearly planned the route and also custom fitted it to expand our learning. What he shares is not a reflection of his beliefs. Think occult as in the beauty of arts and science. Definitely do this tour early in your arrival to get a deeper cultural sense of the city. Night is less crowded. Summer has longer light, so perfect.
Great. Henri was super knowledgeable and gave me a great understanding of Finland and history. I was impressed by his story telling about The Kalevala and how we pointed our monuments and hidden elements tied to this throughout the tour.
